Practices for Performances

There will be practice for the up coming performances. If you signed your child up for them please note these dates!

 

October 1, 2009: we will be in the gym right after school. Please pick up your child in the gym at 3:15

October 5, 2009: we will be going to Bridgestone to practice on the stage. Please pick up your child at Covenant Academy at 4:00pm. This practice is only for the children that will be performing at Bridgestone.

Lunch Menu has changed for this week!

9-22-09 is grilled chicken with sweet potato, peaches and a roll

9-23-09 is chili dogs and French fries

9-24-09 is corn dogs, fruit cocktail, and tater tots

We have a couple events coming up that we would like you to put on your calendar!!!

 

9-17-09: Fair Field Trip

• We will be heading to the Warren County Fair!!! We will line up cars at 9am, leave school at 9:30 and return after lunch.
  
• Lunch will be provided for the students at the Covenant Academy Food Booth
  
• We need parent drivers!!! Please let Ms. Eva know if you can help out!
  
• EARLY SIGN-OUTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED FROM THE FAIR! YOU MUST RETURN TO SCHOOL TO SIGN YOUR CHILD OUT EARLY.
  
• PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND A BOOSTER IF YOUR CHILD REQUIRES ONE.
  
• Your child should wear WHITE COVENANT ACADEMY SHIRT, khaki bottoms, socks, & tennis shoes. ANY CHILD NOT IN COVENANT ACADEMY FIELD TRIP UNIFORM WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND.
  
• You can send $1.00 with your child for ICE CREAM!

THANKSGIVING DINNER

On Thursday our school was able to have Thanksgiving dinner for all of the childrens families. We all have so much to be THANKFUL for. Thanks to all of the staff that made our dinner possible.

Each child in school made a leaf and told something they were blessed with. If you have not yet ,go by and read what these children wrote.

Emma ate at a earlier time with her little sister so I was unable to get a picture with her and her family in it.

Harvest Party-"Jesus Is My Shining Light"

THANK YOU goes out to Dalton and her mother Mrs. Karen for hosting our Harvest Party. Our theme for the day was "Jesus is my shining light". Mrs. Karen prepared some wonderful tasting food, planned a very fun game with prizes for the whole class, had a very cute project of decorating candy pales(something we can always keep), and had a wonderful book for Mrs. Christie to read. Again, THANK YOU for all of your hard work. She even decorated some wonderful tasting sugar cookies(looked professional to me) and also made each kid a carmel apple to take home.
